Check out this article at NorthJersey.com We recently had the pleasure of performing Jack and the Beanstalk for an estatic audience at the opening of the Contemporary Puppetry exhibit at the Art School at Old Church. The crowd was filled with puppet newcomers, NJ puppet guild members, and art appreciators all around. As pictured in this article, the puppets from our show "Davy Crockett In Outer Space" were featured in the gallery along with a host of others from all over the East Coast. Big thanks to John McGurk for organizing the entire event and for being such a huge supporter of puppetry in our community.

8/6/10 This weekend: a WonderSpark double feature in New Jersey! On Saturday (Aug 7th) we are honored to perform alongside our peers at the Art School at Old Church in Demarest, NJ. The Mikhail Zakin Gallery is hosting an exhibit on contemporary puppetry this month, which includes puppets from WonderSpark, Miss Pussycat, Serra Hirsch, Elephant Tango Ensemble, and many more! You'll get a close-up look at our humanette puppets from "Davy Crockett in Outer Space", which premiered at Puppet Playlist 6 at The Tank. The kick-off for the exhibit is a puppet slam featuring many local puppeteers performing polished shorts from 2-4pm on Saturday. We'll be performing our award-winning "Jack and the Beanstalk part 2" show at 2pm, so come early and get a good seat. Best part: it's free Contemporary Puppetry: The Language Inside This Sunday, August 8th, we'll be performing our ever-famous "Jack and the Beanstalk part 2" at yet another puppet slam in New Jersey! Tickets are $10, which is a steal to see so many superb puppet acts strut their stuff. The puppet slam begins at 8pm this Sunday. See you there!
